Our client is a highly successful software house providing world leading financial applications to the markets. They are expanding their Belfast development teams to produce applications that connect to major electronic trading venues around the globe.
As a software developer in one of these teams, you will;
Specify, design, develop and test new product functionality.
Solve problems and fix bugs in existing product versions.
Review and constructively comment on the work of peers.
Co-operate with other component teams to deliver high performance real-time trading across the product suite.
This is a challenging role and would suit a developer with:
Professional experience with C++, Java or C#
Experience in designing and implementing complex systems
Interest in using C++ in the development of complex and high performance financial systems
Experience in software development life cycle (SDLC)
Strong problem solving and analytic skills
Experience in one or more of the following areas would be a distinct advantage:
A highly numerate degree
Experience of development on Unix or Linux
Knowledge of financial markets
Experience with C++
